Ballymacool Park

Ballymacool Park

By Dalia T.

Want a nice hilly walk with a lovely view or a place for little ones to play that's not too far from town but quieter than a typical town park?

Ballymacool Park is the place to go. It's a great, well-kept park on the outskirts of the town, with beautiful trees and two ornamental gardens.

It starts somewhat flat and climbs up towards Ballymacool wood, which you have access to and can explore -with the proper footwear- it'll be a great bonus adventure at the park.

The views are beautiful looking down on the river Swilly as it makes its way towards Lough Swilly.
