Cruit Island North-West Pier

West Donegal

by Elena Whisperwind.

A small pier with no name hidden between the islands.

This quiet pier is located at the bottom of Tobernoran bay. It is surrounded by tiny wild beaches, rocks, Owey Island near, and Arranmore in the distance.

It is a connection between Cruit island and Owey Island and could be a good place for experienced people who like kayaking or sailing.

The pier is accessible by cars from a dirt road that crosses the golf pitch, but the space there is not a lot, so you may need to park in the golf club's car parks.

It is an excellent location if you want a quiet rest, walk along the small beaches and collect some sea shells and glasses.
